Mail from Ms. J
A full blog entry will have to wait until I’m done working, but I can’t contain my excitement until then. Ms. J, second daughter of the original owner of Bungalow ‘23, has sent me a letter and a dozen photos from her baby book that include views of the house.
The pictures are amazing! I can’t wait to post them here, but wait I must.
Here’s a snippet from her letter that really warmed my heart this cold November morning:
It sounds as though you are enjoying the house and its history. It is nice to know that the old place has had and now has such caring owners.
Maybe it is because my son looks nearly the same age Ms. J was in some of these 75-year-old pictures, but I feel a real connection between our families through this house. I think this is what it means to say a building has soul.

Awesome! I’m so jealous.
It’s a treat when PO’s take the time to talk about the house when they owned it. It’s especially nice to see pics from that time as well.
