My new push-button light switches and forged cover plates arrived in the mail earlier this week. This was a little bit of house bling that I’ve wanted to add for some time and finally justified when my new compact fluorescent lightbulbs required me to eliminate a couple of dimmer switches.
I made some great progress in the demolition phase of the nursery project today. I began removing the old sheetrock and cellulose insulation in the sloped portion of the ceiling and pulled out nearly all the old wiring in the room.
Blame for the slow progress on my nursery project can fall on no one but me. But, on a few other small house projects, I’m enjoying the opportunity to blame shipping time for my delayed results.
