We have reached that glorious time of year in which the warmth of each day coaxes an appreciable response from the waking trees and plants. Yes, spring is finally arriving to Minneapolis.

If ever there is a time to stop and smell the flowers (or take pictures of them) this is it. Here are a few first flowers and feathers from the garden.

As an aside, I noticed some visitors to the photo page on this site were spending an oddly short time there. It turns out that my photo plugin was broken and I have now corrected the problem. I also added a few new photo sets and updated a couple others, so if you like the photos in this post, you might find more to enjoy on the photos page.
