Our house was built in 1923 with an attached garage for a car. Now I’ve got a 1923 Minnesota license plate that could have been attached to that car.
I found this on eBay awhile back and couldn’t resist buying it when I saw the “B23″ on the left side. B23… Bungalow ’23… get it? I feel a little sorry for the other bidders in that auction, because clearly fate intended this license plate to be mine!
What am I going to do with an old license plate, you ask? Does it matter? Didn’t I just say fate intended me to have it? You don’t question fate– especially in auctions for old stuff of dubious value.

I'm Josh and since 2005 I have shared home improvement stories and ideas from my family's Arts & Crafts bungalow in Minneapolis, MN. I'm trying to combine the best of 1923 with the best of the 21st century-- and I hope it won't take another 88 years to do it.

Great find! And I agree: It just had to become yours!
Spoken like a fellow eBay junkie, Anna. Thanks.
