After taking out the trash on a recent morning, I snapped these photos of the first leaves and flowers to reappear in the garden this spring.  Enjoy!

How pretty. I am a sucker for flower pics.
That first one is beautiful.

You have a great eye for photography. What kind of camera do you use?

@Jenni: Thanks! I’m pretty proud of that hosta picture.

@Ethan: I use a Panasonic DMC-TZ1, a compact point-and-shoot digital camera with a built in 10x optical zoom lens. The current version of this camera is called the DMC-TZ5 and there is a link to it on my stuff page. The TZ5 has a wonderfullly versatile 10x wideangle-telephoto lens (28-280mm equiv.), a gorgeous 3″ LCD display and it records 720p HD video.

Beautiful! I especially like the one with the dew on the leaves…

Wow, those are great! Love the hosta picture! Photographer and home renovator…I’m adding you to my blog reader right now.

Thanks, Robin. I’m glad you found me. It looks like you’re no slouch photographer yourself.
