My Sacrificial Cutting Table

As I mentioned in my DeWalt Tracksaw review, I made a sacrificial cutting table to use with the saw.  The purpose of the table is to allow the material being cut to be fully supported while the cut is made into the sacrificial top.  This should help avoid kickback and reduce tearout.

My table is made from a folding banquet table with rigid foam insulation attached with hot glue.  The table can still fold and is easy to move from room to room or pack up in a car.  It seems like a good mix of stability and light weight.  And when the top gets too chewed up, I can just scrape off the insulation and replace it with a new sheet.
