Closet Framed Around Chimney

The end of the framing work in the south upstairs bedroom / nursery is in sight.  This new framing replaces the uncompliant work I had done before I got my plan approved that had the wall directly against the chimney.

Rebuilt framing around chimney

Now there is a gap of at least 3″ (code requires 2″) between the chimney and the new framing.  This should be the last framing work in the closet.  Now I just need to check the rest of the space for framing “touch-ups” to the old work– though these should be minimal because I’m not changing any of the walls, doors, or windows.  Could it be that I can start thinking about wiring? Finally?
