Bungalow in the Hollow recently asked for a photo and information on my dining room chandelier. Here it is:
This is the six arm chandelier from the Tahoe collection by Hinckley Lighting. I have the matching 3-arm version in the living room, too. When Ms. Bungalow and I bought the house, the previous owners specified that they wanted to keep the antique chrome art deco fixtures (not original to the house) they had installed here.
In the middle of a move and short on time, we found these lamps at a lighting store near our old neighborhood. They fit the house style well enough that guests sometimes ask if they are original. As my restoration sensibilities have developed, however, I have wished to someday have an antique or reproduction fixture in these spaces.

I'm Josh and since 2005 I have shared home improvement stories and ideas from my family's Arts & Crafts bungalow in Minneapolis, MN. I'm trying to combine the best of 1923 with the best of the 21st century-- and I hope it won't take another 88 years to do it.
