These boarded buildings are part of the Fort Snelling complex at the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers, right next to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. (My apologies for the poor photo quality, the pictures were taken with a mobile phone camera.)

These photos are from a trip to visit friends in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in July of 2007. GR has some fantastic Arts & Crafts architecture and the houses I photographed are mostly from the East Hills neighborhood where we stayed.
